The 46th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum takes place this week in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. Back in our corner of London, we're proud to announce the launch of our work on the World Economic Forum’s new digital platform.
The theme of this year’s conference is, appropriately, “Mastering the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, looking at the issues of new forms of power generation, mass production and information processing.
As a leading NGO committed to improving the state of the world, and with over a million visitors every month, the World Economic Forum needed a digital platform fit for its diverse global audience. We delivered a high-performance responsive website and a powerful bespoke CMS in the run-up to the event.
We redesigned and rebuilt the website to provide the Forum's worldwide readership with a great experience whether on mobile, desktop or tablet, and we also turbocharged the productivity of its digital media team with a new suite of publishing tools. This was a substantial and fascinating project for Made by Many: it was necessary to design around a strong, authoritative brand, and the work involved some innovative thinking to solve a range of technology challenges from the previous version of the site, including building a new platform that will allow for future adaptivity.
We'll be publishing a more in-depth travelogue on this project's design and technology journey in the coming weeks. In the meantime, take a look at our work and enjoy the live sessions from Davos.
