We’re excited to be running a very different type of workshop at the Digital Content Summit 2017 in London next Tuesday 23 May.
The conference, which takes place at The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London, brings together a multi-channel management stream and a stream on consumer behaviour. There's a brilliant speaker line-up with Google, The New York Times, Twitch, Ofcom, Dropbox, The Telegraph Media Group, Virgin and Hearst - amongst a long list of others - all speaking.
Made by Many's workshop is called ‘Unleashing customer magic’ and we’re collaborating with Abracademy.com, our start-up in residence (about whom we wrote a bit about some time ago). We’ll be sharing some of the tools and techniques we use to bring the customer voice centre-stage, and with help from Abracademy’s awesome team of sorcerers demonstrate how to transform base elements into customer gold. We’ve designed the workshop to provide an interactive, experiential bootcamp for delegates interested in getting end-users involved in their innovation and design processes.
Those lucky ‘muggles’ attending will also learn some magic to take back home to impress colleagues, families and probably complete strangers. This could be life-changing!
There is method to this madness. We’ve been working with Abracademy to amp up the experiential learning components of our unique approach to digital transformation. We call it ‘Change by Making’. It’s a highly collaborative, hands-on way to accelerate and drive change, and to drag digital right into to the core. It’s change by doing instead of just talking about it. We’re having real success with this approach – not least because it’s a lot more engaging and fun than the standard, joyless, transformation death-march.
The Digital Content Summit is organised by Business Reporter, and this is its fourth year. We can’t wait. Let us know if you're attending! We’ll share how it goes after next Tuesday!
