WTF is Doostang?

I received this wonderfully cretinous spam email this evening, inviting me to join what looks like a professional social networking service that promises to get you a great job.Yeah – you know, a great job like for example:

“Doostang members have been hired by Morgan Stanley, Google, McKinsey, Time Inc, Farallon Capital, Ogilvy, Facebook and hundreds more.”

Imagine. Getting hired by Morgan Stanley!

Obviously the spammers failed to notice that there’s a *massive crisis* in the financial services sector, and that only today Morgan Stanley announced they were doing so badly that the CEO’s not getting a bonus. This news comes a week ahead of a report expected to show they’ve lost nearly $900 million.

This is one networking service I’ll pass on thanks.
