Robert Henke 'Lumière', Barbican Digital Revolution, 19 July - A spectacle of lasers and data sonification from German sound artist Robert Henke. Amazing for most, but not great if you suffer from epilepsy. Curated by Unsound Festival that should also be on your radar.

Marina Abramovic 512 Hours, Serpentine Gallery, until August 25 - Don't miss this one. Seriously. Even if you find contemporary/performance art difficult/ridiculous/pretentious/etc. this might (hopefully) change your view on things. If it doesn't, we'd love to hear why you didn't like it. Also, don't read the reviews beforehand, you will ruin it for yourself. Go on a Sunday or Saturday morning before 12pm for shorter queuing times.
