Made by Many has been acknowledged by our peers for our work on Skype in the classroom, School in the Cloud and Hackaball and have been shortlisted for the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) Awards!

Every year the IxDA puts out a call for submissions for their awards which coincides with Interaction, the annual conference that has been running since 2008. This year, Made by Many decided to put our work out there and let the public peer review process choose whether our work would move forward in the awards.

It was a month of holding our breath between submitting the awards and the announcement of the shortlist. We have projects in three categories — Hackaball has been nominated in Engaging, School in the Cloud is in Empowering and in the Connecting category is Skype in the classroom. And to be nominated alongside the plethora of so many talented agencies and individuals is humbling. Best of luck to our fellow nominees!

A big thanks goes out to all the Many who put in the time to help make the submissions possible (and put up with having multiple cameras shoved in their faces!). Hopefully we’ll have some more news to share when the finalists are announced in mid-December and maybe we’ll even see some of you at Interaction 15 in San Francisco!
