We’re looking for a freelance QA engineer to help us out on a range of projects for a minimum of three months, with an immediate start.

You will be helping us to launch and improve several products that we have in development. QA is a crucial role in helping us to meet the very high quality that our clients demand and which we expect of ourselves.

You will be working closely with our lead QA to devise and execute testing plans for complex mobile and tablet apps as well as web sites, including back office systems.

You should have recent experience of testing Android and iOS applications across multiple form factors, and of testing on a range of browsers. You will be comfortable working in a team of skilled developers and designers, sharing feedback and in general being a champion for quality.

We do not view QA as an adjunct to a project; we test continuously throughout development. For us, QA is a much about improving the products we make as it is about conforming to requirements. If a solution doesn’t work as well as it should, we can look again at the requirements, so we prize creative thinking and empathy with users very highly.

Our development process is Agile, and so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in small, self-organising teams. You should also be happy to work on multiple projects at the same time.

How to apply

You will be working in our canal-side studio in Islington. You’ll be working amongst a friendly team of talented makers and thinkers, and a Weimaraner named Tilly.

If this sounds like the job you can do and the sort of place you’d like to work, please apply via Recruiterbox and upload or link to your CV.
