After waiting two months since being shortlisted for the IxDA Awards, we got the word yesterday that our three projects shortlisted - Hackaball, School in the Cloud and Skype in the classroom - all have been chosen as finalists!

Amidst returning to London after our Christmas beach party last night, I got a notification for an announcement Made by Many have been awaiting. We have been fortunate that a jury of our respected peers in the field of interaction design believe that our projects deserve to be chosen as finalists. And to say we're happy (and humbled) is an understatement!

Each of these projects have created plenty of learning for everyone involved and it's not just for us here at Made by Many but also our partners - Skype and Dr Sugata Mitra and his team at Newcastle University. It's been a pleasure working with and guiding them through a user-centred design process that connected stakeholders to their audience and identifying the various challenges that are inherent within an educational space.

If you want to read more about projects chosen as 2015 Interaction Awards Finalists , you can do so at these links: Skype in the classroom, Hackaball and School in the Cloud.

We'll find out on 11 February 2015 whether Hackaball, School in the Cloud and Skype in the classroom win their respective Best in Category awards. Until then, we'll start making our plans of making our way out to San Francisco and hope to see you out there in for Interaction 15! We may be calling on your help once the People's Choice Award voting opens up in January : )
